Jackknifed semi-truck blocks lanes on EB I-94 in Detroit

A crash involving a semi-truck caused eastbound I-94 on Detroit’s east side to close Thursday morning.

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) reported that all lanes on eastbound I-94 at French Road were closed just after 5 a.m. on July 24.

A United States Postal Service truck jackknifed following a crash, blocking the freeway. A car was also seen being towed away.

It’s unclear if anyone was injured.

The freeway reopened just after 7 a.m.
