Third person arrested in connection with string of robberies in Oakland County

WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A third person has been arrested in connection with a string of robberies in Oakland County.

Snyomee Stanley, a 21-year-old from Taylor, was arrested and charged for allegedly robbing a Marshalls in White Lake Township on July 9.

Waterford Township police said Stanley’s arrest was a result of the ongoing investigation into the string of robberies involving a brother and sister duo.

The siblings, a 21-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man, were arrested a day after they drove away in a short pursuit after allegedly robbing the Marshalls on July 9.

Police have not released the names or photos of the siblings.

The siblings are accused of being involved in several other robberies in Commerce Township and Auburn Hills.

According to police, the alleged robberies happened in retail store parking lots. On at least two occasions, the duo allegedly used force to steal purses from women. The victims sustained minor injuries.

The two were charged with unarmed robbery and larceny in the Commerce Township and Auburn Hills incidents. Police said the man is currently on parole for the same offense.
