WASHTENAW COUNTY, Mich. – Washtenaw Community College (WCC) announced it will have new programs beginning next fall, aiming to meet workforce needs.
Beginning in Fall 2025, five new degrees and certificates will join the college’s 143 programs, featuring associate degrees in Engineering Technology and Construction Technology, as well as a Semiconductor & Battery Manufacturing Advanced Certificate.

Classes begin Aug. 25 with later start dates that offer the same material at an accelerated pace. Four starts for the 2025 Fall Semester are the following:
- Session I, Aug. 25
- Session II, Sept. 17
- Session III, Oct. 1
- Session IV, Oct. 18
Students can enroll for admission or register for classes online. Registration remains open until the night before the first session of each course.
Here are the five new academic programs that will be offered beginning in the fall:
- Construction Technology – Associate in Applied Science (APCONT)
- Engineering Technology – Associate in Applied Science (APETCH)
- Semiconductor & Battery Manufacturing – Advanced Certificate (CVSBMF)
- Advanced Auto Body Repair – Advanced Certificate (CVAUB2)
- Education Paraprofessional – Certificate (CTEDPP)

Tuition, scholarships
WCC’s tuition will be frozen at $99 per credit for in-district students.
