17-year-old shot on Detroit’s east side dies from injuries, police confirm Police said the circumstances surrounding the shooting were unknown
DETROIT – Police updated Local 4 on the condition of the 17-year-old boy, who was listed in critical condition following a shooting on Detroit’s east side, as he has died from his injuries.
The shooting occurred on Friday (Aug. 15) around 6 p.m. in the 1600 block of Eastwood Street
Police said the circumstances surrounding the shooting were unknown, but they are actively looking for the shooter.
