Shooting at gas station on Detroit’s east side leaves 1 injured

DETROIT – A man is in critical condition after being shot at a gas station on Detroit’s east side Wednesday morning.

The shooting happened at around 9:30 a.m. on April 8 at a gas station on Chalmers Street near Houston Whittier Street.

According to police, the shooter pulled up to the man’s car, shot the man and drove away from the scene.

The victim drove himself to the hospital and is in critical condition.

A suspect has not yet been arrested.
