WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. – A Wayne County man is facing federal charges after paying a teen in exchange for nude images on Snapchat, according to court documents.
The investigation began after a 13-year-old girl from Arizona, along with her parents, reported to police in February 2025 that two different people were paying her to send nude images of herself through social media apps.

In March 2025, the teen said one of the people who paid her for the images and videos was named Isaac, later identified as Isaac Lopez. She said he asked her on Snapchat if she wanted to make some money by sending him nude images and videos of herself, to which she agreed.
Lopez reportedly sent at least one nude image of himself to the teen. He also allegedly asked for specific photos of the teen.
Court documents state that Lopez asked the teen about her age on Snapchat, to which she replied that she was 13. He reportedly replied, “Okay,” and then asked for more photos of her.
Payments were sent via Apple Cash.
The teen’s phone was turned over to police, and consent was given to the investigators to search the device.
Although no chats were observed between the teen and Lopez, investigators saw some financial transaction data that corresponded to the information the teen provided in her interview.
According to the data, there were 12 transactions from Nov. 12, 2024, to Dec. 27, 2024.
In May 2025, a detective received content of the teen’s and Lopez’s Snapchat accounts and executed a search warrant. They then found Lopez’s IP address and phone number based on the email associated with the account, confirming his identity.
Investigators also looked more into the transactions and found that the $640 that was sent to the teen from Lopez via Apple Cash was tracked to his former address in Riverview.
Court documents state Lopez used to live in an apartment in Riverview. He then moved to his current address, located in River Rouge, in early 2025.
On Aug. 8, 2025, a federal search was executed at Lopez’s home in River Rouge. There, multiple phones were seized, and FBI investigators interviewed Lopez.
According to investigators, Lopez remembered talking to the teen, requesting nude images and paying her for those images. However, he claimed he did not know how old she was.
He also reportedly confirmed that he paid the teen through Apple Pay and identified the email address associated with the account as his.
According to court documents, Lopez told the investigators that they would “probably” find chats on his phone between him and girls under the age of 18.
When investigators reviewed Lopez’s phone, they saw hundreds of images and videos from his “hidden” folder that court documents claim “appeared to have been deleted when law enforcement began knocking on the door.”
The folder contained sexually explicit images of young girls, with some downloaded from Snapchat.
Lopez faces charges of receipt and possession of child pornography.
