A man from Wayne County disappeared over the weekend after attending the Michigan Renaissance Festival.
The disappearance of Jacob Angeles has generated a ton of interest online, and there’s widespread speculation about his case and where he might be.

Who’s missing?
Jacob Angeles, of Rockwood, Michigan, is the man who went missing over the weekend.
When and where was he last seen?
Angeles went to the Michigan Renaissance Festival in Holly on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025.
He was last seen at the festival around 11 a.m. Saturday, and he didn’t return home later that night.
Angeles was supposed to be at work at 3 a.m. Sunday, but he didn’t show up and didn’t call to let anyone know he wouldn’t be there. His coworkers said that is unusual for him.
Car caught on camera
On Wednesday, police revealed that Angeles’ silver 2006 Jeep Commander was seen at 4:16 p.m. Saturday at the northbound I-675 ramp to northbound I-75 near Saginaw.
The car was seen by a Flock camera, which captures images of license plates.
His Commander has a license plate number of “ELH 8954.”
“To clear up time stamps the plate reader at the festival had a system error and showed every car leaving at the 12:01 a.m. time frame,” Rockwood police said.
What happened at festival?
There were rumors that Angeles was in need of medical attention at the festival, but medical personnel said they don’t have any record of speaking with him.

Police are also asking for photos of his Jeep Commander.
