PONTIAC, Mich. – A Pontiac teen has reunited with her family in Oakland County after running away from home two weeks ago, according to police.
The teen ran away from home on Thursday (Aug. 7), which is when members of her family filed a missing person’s report
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said the 16-year-old girl showed up at a relative’s house in Pontiac on Friday, Aug. 22, 2025, around 5:30 p.m.
Officials stated that the relative contacted the teen’s mother, who then called 911.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office deputies said they responded to the relative’s home and took the 16-year-old back to her mother..
