Fall feels stuck in summer mode with 80-degree temperatures ahead in Metro Detroit

Overnight skies will be clear with calm winds. Milder lows in the mid-50s.

Temps begin warming up tomorrow with a high of 79. Then we have a string of sunny days with highs in the low 80s.

It’s a great time to get the car washed!

The next chance for rain comes Saturday night into Sunday.

But at this point, it’s still not a guarantee everyone gets wet.

We could certainly use the rain, as we are at about 30% of our normal rainfall.

At 5:30 p.m., I will explain why this weather isn’t the best for fall color and what we expect in the next few weeks.
