Metro Detroit recently experienced a taste of fall with cooler weather, and despite the return of summer temperatures, local bakeries and cafes are embracing the season by offering a variety of fall-inspired treats.

From cider mill donuts to pumpkin spice-flavored drinks and pastries, several places across Metro Detroit are already serving fall treats.

Here’s a list of spots to get fall drinks at, followed by where to find seasonal treats.

Here’s the list of spots to get fall-flavored drinks:

Qawah House

Locations: Ann Arbor, Canton, Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Sterling Heights and West Bloomfield

Qawah House released its pumpkin-flavored coffee lineup on Aug. 25, and it will stick around until Nov. 25.

The lineup includes the following drinks:

  • Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte
  • Iced Pumpkin Spice Aerocano
  • Iced Pumpkin Spice Matcha

Proving Grounds Coffee

Location: Milford

Proving Grounds Coffee started serving the following for the fall season:

  • Pumpkin Spice Latte
  • Pumpkin Spice Chai
  • White Pumpkin
  • Oatmeal Cream Pie

The coffee shop is located at 369 N. Main Street in Milford.

Mia’s Bakery and Coffee Shop

Location: Madison Heights

Mia’s Bakery and Coffee Shop’s fall menu includes the following:

  • Pumpkin Spice Latte: Hot latte with creamy pumpkin spice flavor
  • Pumpkin Scream Cold Brew: Cold brew topped with pumpkin cream cold foam
  • Crisp Apple Cold Brew: Cold brew topped with brown sugar apple cold foam and caramel drizzle
  • Banana Bread Chai: Hot spiced chai with a banana and hazelnut flavoring

You can try all four of these drinks in a fall coffee flight.

Mia’s Bakery and Coffee Shop is located at 1413 West 14 Mile Road in Madison Heights.

Haraz Coffee House

Locations: Dearborn, Detroit, Livonia and Warren

Haraz Coffee House locations kicked off their 2025 fall drink season on Wednesday, Aug. 27. This year’s lineup includes the following drinks:

  • Pumpkin Spice Shaken Espresso
  • Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte
  • Pumpkin Spice Frappe
  • Pumpkin Spice Matcha

Detroit Perk

Location: Dearborn Heights

Detroit Perk dropped its fall drink lineup last week, and it includes the following:

  • Caramel Apple Refresher
  • Pumpkin Spice Latte
  • Pumpkin Patch Matcha
  • Smores Latte
  • Irish Cream Cold Brew
  • Pumpkin Brown Sugar Shaken

Detroit Perk is located at 22722 Ford Road in Dearborn Heights.

Griffin Claw Brewing Company

Location: Birmingham and Rochester Hills

This isn’t a pumpkin spice latte—it’s a pumpkin beer.

Griffin Claw Brewing Company’s Screamin’ Pumpkin beer is now available at its locations in Birmingham and Rochester Hills and in Kroger and Meijer stores across Metro Detroit.

They’ve also released a Screamin’ Pumpkin whiskey.

Dessert Oasis Coffee Roasters

Locations: Detroit, Ferndale, Royal Oak and Rochester

Dessert Oasis Coffee Roasters is stocking its pastry case with several fall baked goods.

The lineup includes the following:

  • Maple Pecan Cheesecake: Creamy cheesecake with chopped pecans and maple, topped with vanilla mousse, more pecans, and a whole pecan on each slice.
  • Caramel Apple Cheesecake: Homemade spiced apple compote baked inside and layered on top, finished with a caramel drizzle.
  • The Log Lady: A tribute to one of the more eccentric residents of Twin Peaks, this flaky croissant is rolled like a log and filled with maple syrup, cheddar, and pork sausage. Glazed with maple butter and extra cheese for that sweet-and-savory perfection.
  • Vegan Maple Pecan Mini Carrot Cake: Spiced carrot cake with crushed pecans, maple cream cheese frosting, and a dusting of cinnamon. All vegan, all delicious.
  • Cider Mill Cookie: Dessert Oasis’ take on a snickerdoodle, made with apple cider reduction, rolled in cinnamon sugar, and drizzled with caramel. A cookie packed with cider mill vibes.

Achatz Pie Company

Locations: Armada, Beverly Hills, Bloomfield Hills, Chesterfield, Livonia, Madison Heights, Oxford, Shelby Township and Troy

Achatz Pie Company is bringing back its Autumn Harvest Pie for the 2025 season.

This pie includes a layer of classic pecan pie, followed by a layer of smooth pumpkin silk, and topped with whipped cream, pumpkin spice and candied pecans.

The Autumn Harvest Pie will be available starting on Friday, Oct. 17.

Customers can pre-order the pie online or head to an Achatz location.

“This is one of our team’s all-time favorite pies. Every year, our customers ask us when it’s coming back into our rotation,” said co-owner and second-generation baker Zack Achatz. “The beauty of it is whether you’re a fan of pecan pie or pumpkin pie, you don’t have to choose — because this pie is both!”

Bakehouse 46

Locations: Ann Arbor, Birmingham, Ferndale, Grosse Pointe, Plymouth and Rochester

Bakehouse 46’s September lineup of cupcakes includes the following:

  • Apple Cider Donut
  • Caramel Mocha Latte
  • Grandma’s Apple Pie
  • Salted Caramel Pretzel
  • Chai Latte
  • Zinger

Bakehouse 46 is a joint venture between Blake Farms and Cupcake Station.

In addition to cupcakes, Bakehouse 46 locations also sell fresh cider mill donuts.

Detroit Cookie Company

Locations: Ferndale and St. Clair Shores

Detroit Cookie Company began serving fall-flavored cookies on Sept. 2, 2025.

The lineup includes the following:

  • Cinnamon Bourbon Coffee Cake: Coffee cake soaked in a sweet bourbon syrup made with Bardstown Bourbon mixed into Detroit Cookie Company’s original dough with cinnamon chips.
  • Pumpkin Cider Donut: Daily Dozen cinnamon sugar donuts & pumpkin pie smashed into Detroit Cookie Company’s original dough
  • Browned Butter Sea Salt Triple Chocolate: White, semi-sweet & milk chocolate in a toasty browned butter cookie dough sprinkled with sea salt

They also brought back the s’mores brownies.

The Detroit Cookie Company storefronts are located at 23421 Woodward Avenue in Ferndale and 25600 Harper Avenue in St. Clair Shores.

New Palace Bakery

Location: Hamtramck

New Palace Bakery is known for its paczki’s but also serves pumpkin pies!

New Palace Bakery is located at 9833 Joseph Campau Street in Hamtramck.

Nothing Bundt Cakes

Locations: Allen Park, Ann Arbor, Brighton, Canton, Grosse Pointe, Novi, Rochester Hills, Sterling Heights, Troy and West Bloomfield

Guests can get the following fall-flavored treats at Nothing Bundt Cakes locations across Metro Detroit:

  • Pumpkin Spice: Blends pumpkin with warm seasonal spices. Available in all Bundt Cake sizes. (Available Sept. 8–Dec. 7).
  • Caramel Apple Cider: A cinnamon spice cake baked with apple cider, coated in apple spice cinnamon sugar and topped with caramel sauce. Available for two weeks only in Bundtlet cakes. (Available Sept. 8–21)

Nothing Bundt Cakes will also release a Biscoff Cookie Butter Cake at the end of the month. The cake will have Biscoff cookies baked on the bottom and placed on top. Biscoff cookie butter will also be baked into the cake and drizzled on top. (Available Sept. 29 through Oct. 12)

Modern Cone

Location: St. Clair Shores

Fall ice cream flavors have arrived at Modern Cone. The lineup includes pumpkin spice, apple crisp and more.
