Farmington police are investigating a possible stranger danger situation that happened in the area of Farmington and Eight Mile roads at around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025. FARMINGTON, Mich. – A woman allegedly asked teen girls in Farmington if they needed a ride and followed them when they declined. Police are seeking tips from the public as they investigate the possible stranger danger incident.

The interaction happened at 2:38 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025, near Farmington and Eight Mile roads.

Police say a woman in a smaller black SUV approached two teenage girls and asked them if they wanted a ride.

When they declined, she allegedly followed them.

The woman, who appeared to be in her early 30s, was wearing a pink baseball hat and dark sunglasses, according to police.

Detectives are asking the public to contact them if they witnessed the situation or had similar interactions.

“The Farmington Public Safety Department reminds our community to stay vigilant of their surroundings,” Farmington Public Safety. “Do not engage anyone that approaches you or your children and immediately call 911.
