ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. – Autumn has arrived - think cozy sweaters, orchard outings and pumpkin spice. In St. Clair Shores, the season gets even sweeter with Shorestober Feast, a citywide celebration of local bars and restaurants.
The St. Clair Shores Cool City Committee is expanding on the traditional Oktoberfest merriment in a new way. Shorestober Feast offers the opportunity to visit 33 participating bars and restaurants in the city until Oct. 5 and earn a chance to win over $3,000 in gift card bundles.
Each bar and restaurant has its own sign with a unique QR code. When guests visit, they scan the code, input their name and email and answer a short question about their dining experience. A person must enter their information at three or more participating businesses to be eligible to win one of the gift card packages.
There is one $500 grand prize gift card package, one $300 package, one $200 package and 22 $100 gift card package prizes. You do not need to be a St. Clair Shores resident to win a prize.
People will get credit for visiting the businesses during the Sept. 20-Oct. 5 period.
