PONTIAC, Mich. – A pickup truck ran a red light and hit a bus on Wednesday in Pontiac, hospitalizing the bus driver, police said.
It happened at the intersection of Perry and Huron streets on Sept. 24 .

Police said a pickup truck ran a red light and hit the bus, which then crashed into the payphone in front of Grace Centers of Hope.
No passengers were on the bus at the time.
The driver of the pickup reportedly ran off on foot after the collision.
The investigation is ongoing.
