PONTIAC, Mich. – Police are searching for two suspects who shot a man during a home invasion in Pontiac.
The incident occurred on Thursday (Oct. 2) at 5:38 a.m. on the 60 block of N. Tasmania Street.

Deputies and paramedics responded to the shooting.
The victim’s girlfriend reported that her boyfriend had been shot.
Upon arrival, deputies said they found a 46-year-old man had been shot three times in the abdomen.
Paramedics took over care and transported him to a hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
The victim’s girlfriend said two male suspects broke into their home and shot the man while he was in bed after demanding to know where the money was.
The suspects restrained the victim with zip ties, stole a cell phone, and fled the scene.
Detectives arrived to investigate the incident. The identities of the suspects remain unknown.
Other residents involved include a 73-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman, both from Pontiac.
