Detroit police asking public for help finding missing 28-year-old man Syed Akil last seen on Oct. 6, 2025

DETROIT – Detroit police are asking the public for help finding a missing man last seen on Monday.
Syed Akil was last seen leaving his home in the 12300 block of Charest on Oct. 6, 2025. He has not been seen since.
Police said Akil has Schizophrenia.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Detroit Police Department 11th precinct at (313) 596-1140.
Syed Akil Details Age 28 Height 5′6″ Weight 190 lbs. Eye Color Black Hair Color Black Last seen wearing Black sleeveless T-shirt and black pants
