4Warn Weather – No need to wash your car for the weekend as we expect soaking rain across much of Metro Detroit.
But the entire weekend won’t be a washout, and you can still sneak in a few fun, fall events like cider mills and haunted houses.
You just might need to keep an umbrella in the trunk.
Thursday
Tonight, skies will be mostly clear with lows staying in the low 40s.
The growing season has ended in Metro Detroit, so as of today, there are no longer going to be Frost Advisories or Freeze Warnings issued by the National Weather Service.
Friday
Friday looks to be dry, with the exception of a couple of isolated showers north of Detroit.
Weekend forecast
Saturday will be windy and warm with the chance for a scattered shower or thunderstorm arriving in the afternoon/evening.
Sunday looks to have soaking rains with as much as an inch or more in many areas.
Windy conditions will also make for a gloomy fall day.
Highs Saturday reach the mid 70s, but return to the low 60s for Sunday into early next week. A more significant cool down begins Thursday with highs in the low to mid 50s.
