Man killed in afternoon shooting on Detroit’s west side; witnesses cooperating The incident remains under investigation by the Detroit Police Department Homicide Unit
DETROIT – A man was killed following a shooting on Detroit’s west side.
The shooting occurred on Friday (Oct. 24) at 3:30 p.m. on Humboldt Street and West Forest Avenue.
Police said they discovered the man upon arrival suffering from a gunshot wound.
Officials said witnesses, who were in the area at the time of the shooting, were cooperating with them.
The incident remains under investigation by the Detroit Police Department Homicide Unit.
