Gas main break closes John R Road in Troy

TROY, Mich. – A gas main break has closed down a stretch of John R Road in Troy.

The closure began just after 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, impacting both directions between Big Beaver and Maple roads.

City officials said Consumers Energy is actively working to isolate the gas leak.

Residents are urged to avoid the area.
