MONROE TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A shooting between roommates in Monroe County on Sunday morning resulted in two non-life-threatening injuries and the arrest of a 52-year-old resident, officials said.
At about 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2, deputies responded to the 3000 block of West Albain Road in Monroe Township after receiving a report of a shooting, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

When they arrived, they found a victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The suspect, identified as a 52-year-old Monroe Township resident, allegedly fled the area but was taken into custody a short time later.
The 52-year-old also had a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was treated at a local hospital before being taken to the Monroe County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
