27-year-old charged in fatal Detroit homicide; victim identified as 44-year-old man

A probable cause conference is scheduled for Nov. 13 at 8:30 a.m.

DETROIT – A 27-year-old man has been charged with the fatal shooting of a 44-year-old man in Detroit on Halloween.

The incident occurred on Friday (Oct. 31) at 12:15 p.m. in the 2600 block of Pearl Street, where police said William Deuparo, 27, shot and killed a 44-year-old man on Halloween.

Deuparo was arraigned on Thursday (Nov. 6) for the homicide-first-degree murder.

A probable cause conference is scheduled for Nov. 13 at 8:30 a.m.
