Man arrested in Oakland County road rage assault

Investigation is ongoing

TROY, Mich. – A road rage attack in Troy left a Macomb County man unresponsive in a busy intersection.

According to authorities, police were called to John R and Square Lake roads just before 11 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 9. Witnesses said a driver got out of his car and repeatedly hit and kicked a 48-year-old man.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The driver fled the scene, but his vehicle was spotted near Big Beaver and Dequindre roads, where police initiated a traffic stop.

Kenneth Patterson Ross, a 43-year-old from Washington Township, has been charged with aggravated assault. His bond has been set at $25,000.
