Video: Coast Guard helicopter airlifts patient from freighter on Lake Huron Helicopter dispatched from Detroit for urgent rescue
HARBOR BEACH, Mich. – Dramatic video captured a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter airlifting someone off a large freighter on Lake Huron .
According to authorities , an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter was sent from Detroit on Friday, Nov. 14, to assist with someone suffering from a medical emergency on the MV American Courage, which was near Harbor Beach.
The MH-65 helicopter crew transported the patient to medical officials for treatment.
