Jury convicts woman after five-day trial for attack on boyfriend
Jennifer Hayes (WDIV)MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – A 29-year-old woman from Clinton Township has been convicted of assault with intent to murder.
She reportedly stabbed her boyfriend multiple times in July 2024 at his Clinton Township home. The victim was stabbed 14 times, including in the neck. He has since recovered from his injuries.
After a five-and-a-half-day trial, a jury convicted Hayes on Friday, Nov. 21, of a single count of assault with intent to murder.
Hayes faces the possibility of spending life in prison. She will be sentenced Jan. 8.
