The Michigan State Police are joining one of the most meaningful events of the year -- Operation Good Cheer.
This annual Christmas gift-giving program, organized by Child and Family Charities, brings holiday cheer to children placed in foster care away from their own homes.

In 2024, Operation Good Cheer sponsored 6,730 children and delivered 20,190 gifts to 105 nonprofit agencies throughout Michigan.
On Saturday, Dec. 6, 248 pilots, including members of the Michigan State Police, flew to 33 airports across the state to deliver gifts to children in need.
