ACCESS to distribute 500 food boxes to Metro Detroit residents next week

DEARBORN, Mich. – The Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services (ACCESS) will distribute food boxes to help support community members across Metro Detroit this holiday season.

ACCESS, a Dearborn nonprofit, has prepared 500 boxes of food to distribute to support about 2,000 people on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, according to a news release.

The boxes will include non-perishable items, fresh halal poultry and bread.

The drive-up food distribution event will happen at the ACCESS Community Health and Research Center (CHRC) at 6450 Maple Street in Dearborn from 2 p.m. until supplies run out.

Cars should enter from Maple Street.
