2 snow plows stolen from Troy business parking lot

Plows were left unlocked with keys inside

TROY, Mich. – Police are investigating after two snow plows were stolen from a Troy business on Saturday, Nov. 29

The business reported that between 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 29 and 1:10 a.m. on Nov. 20, the trucks were stolen from its lot at 396 John R Road.

The victim said he and his employees had left multiple snow removal trucks parked and unlocked, with keys inside, in preparation for an upcoming snowfall.

When employees returned early the next morning, a 2005 GMC Sierra and a 2002 Ford F-250 equipped with snow plows were missing.

The Ford F-250 was found several days later in Detroit.
