‘Tommy gun’ among firearms seized in Michigan drug bust

3 arrested, expected to face charges

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – A submachine gun from roughly 100+ years ago was among seven guns seized by Michigan State Police during a drug bust.

According to authorities, a search warrant was executed on a home in northern Isabella County, resulting in the seizure of methamphetamine and seven guns, including a Thompson-style submachine gun.

Two people were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to distribute, and a third person was arrested for an unrelated reason.
