What to expect
After a dry Christmas Eve and Christmas, Metro Detroit is expected to see an accumulation of freezing rain/ice of 0.05″ to 0.10″ in the morning and early afternoon on Friday. Some areas could see a little higher by Friday afternoon.
Bridges, overpasses and untreated surfaces are expected to become ice-covered throughout the morning hours.
