Man killed, another injured in shooting on Detroit’s west side Suspect arrested
DETROIT – A man has died, and another is injured in a shooting on Detroit’s west side on New Year’s Eve.
The shooting happened at around midnight on Dec. 31 in the 2500 block of Grand Boulevard.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man dead and another in critical condition.
The suspect was also taken to a local hospital and is in custody, according to police.
Police believe everyone involved knew each other, and a dispute had happened before the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing.
