GARDEN CITY, Mich. – A Livonia man has been charged in connection with a New Year’s Day shooting in Garden City that left a father and son in critical condition.
The shooting occurred around 4:16 a.m. on Jan. 1, in the parking lot of Rockstarz Bar on Ford Road.
Police say a fight broke out between 29-year-old Brian Lindsay and the victims, leading Lindsay to shoot the 55-year-old father in the head and the 22-year-old in the chest.

After the shooting, Lindsay fled the scene in his car.
Both victims were taken to the hospital, where they remain in critical condition.
Following an investigation, Lindsay surrendered himself to police at 6 p.m. the same day.
He faces multiple charges, including two counts of assault with intent to murder, two counts of assault with intent to do great bodily harm, two counts of felonious assault and six counts of felony firearm possession.
Lindsay was arraigned on Sunday, Jan. 4, in the 36th District Court and was ordered held on a $1 million cash or surety bond.
