WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. – Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Jaydee Durden, 23, of Lincoln Park, in connection with the non-fatal stabbing of a 33-year-old Allen Park woman inside a Dunkin’ Donuts.
Durden and the victim did not know each other.

On Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, at approximately 10:27 a.m., Lincoln Park police officers were dispatched to a Dunkin’ Donuts located in the 4000 block of Dix Avenue for the reported stabbing.
Upon their arrival, officers said they located the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds to her arms and right leg.
Medics arrived on the scene and transported the victim to a Metro Detroit hospital for treatment.
It is alleged that Durden approached the victim and stabbed her multiple times with a knife before fleeing the scene.
An investigation by the Lincoln Park Police Department led to the defendant’s arrest shortly thereafter.
Durden has been charged with assault with intent to murder, assault with intent to do great bodily harm, and felonious assault.
The 23-year-old man was arraigned and remanded to jail on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, in 25th District Court.
The Probable Cause Conference is scheduled for Jan. 13, 2026, at 11 a.m., and the preliminary examination is scheduled for Jan. 20, 2026, at 9 a.m.
