Miller picked Jessica up at 1674 Buckingham Ave. Lincoln Park, MI 48146 and left on a motorcycle with an unknown male. They could be un an unknown white pickup truck or a white motorcycle, police said.

LINCOLN PARK, MI -- A dead newborn baby was found inside a bloody bag in Lincoln Park over the weekend. Officers with the Lincoln Park Police Department found the bag after a resident reported discovering it in a wooded area near Fort Street and St. Johns Boulevard in the city located just southwest of Detroit. Police said the bag had a “substantial amount” of blood on it when it was found. There was also evidence that the baby had been delivered just before being placed into the bag, police said, however police do not know when the infant was born. LINCOLN PARK, MI -- A pizza delivery driver is recovering from an assault that left him laying in the middle of the street and his car being stolen. According to WXYZ Detroit, Michael Suave was attacked Monday night while delivering a pizza to a home on White Avenue. When Suave walked back toward the street, that man and three others attacked him. One of the men used a stun gun on Suave, so he was unable to defend himself. As driver’s license offices reopened again, those braving the long lines also had to deal with freezing temps

LINCOLN PARK, MI -- Police are searching for a woman who allegedly stole a police car and two other cars in Ohio before crashing in Michigan and disappearing. According to WTOL Toledo, the car was later determined to have been stolen and the suspect crashed the vehicle as officer pursued it. She then crashed the police car in a ditch and waved down a passerby in a truck who saw the police car had crashed. When the man went to go check on the officer, the woman got into the truck and sped off. That 1999 Dodge Ram truck was eventually found in Lincoln Park, Michigan and had also been crashed.

Michigan State Police announced Thursday the seizure of more than $800,000 cash and 36,000 prescription pills as part of a four-month operation. The investigation led to the arrests of a 36-year-old Dearborn man and a 42-year-old man from Inkster. Those warrants focused on the sale of illegal prescription drugs by the two men. “Those individuals arrested during this investigation are believed to be a major supplier of illegal prescription drugs in the metro Detroit area,” MSP wrote in a Twitter post announcing the arrests. The MSP Marijuana and Tobacco Investigation Section is investigating the discovery of the marijuana plants.

Lincoln Park police investigate shooting that left man dead, woman injured
LINCOLN PARK, Mich. – Police are investigating a shooting that left one dead and another injured in Lincoln Park. The shooting happened in the 1500 block of Hanover Avenue in Lincoln Park at 4:10 a.m. on Monday. Police found a 37-year-old man who had been shot multiple times and a 31-year-old woman who had been shot one time in the arm. The man was pronounced dead at the hospital and the woman was treated for her injuries. Victim and gunman in Lincoln Park neighborhood shooting knew each other
LINCOLN PARK, Mich. – There is brand new information about a Lincoln Park neighborhood shooting that happened on Moran near Fort Street. Police spent hours in the neighborhood looking for any type of evidence they could find. Lincoln Park police were on scene combing the area for evidence and found a shell casing on the ground. Investigators are saying this is quite possibly a domestic incident claiming that the victim and the shooter either knew each other or were relatives. To make matters worse, the shooting happened right around the corner from a school.

Free COVID-19 testing in Lincoln Park this weekend

Burgess then went outside to locate his 12-year-old daughter Emma. “My only instinct was to keep punching the dog until he let go,” Burgess said. I won’t let them come out. Burgess said the dog was taken by Lincoln Park Animal Control and quarantined for days.

LINCOLN PARK, Mich. Metro Detroit saw its share of rain, fallen trees, power outages and floods overnight -- when the rain started coming in, Lincoln Park residents started to worry. The block at Cleveland Avenue and Howard Street flooded and residents are frustrated because they said its not the first time. When Jennifer Trippe let her dog out Sunday morning, she saw that the street outside had flooded and she immediately ran to check her basement. Lincoln Park city officials said at least a dozen homes experienced flooding and crews with the Department of Public Safety have been doing inspections Saturday. A tree in front of a vacant house came down Sunday, blocking a womans front door and driveway, trapping her car.
Domestic violence suspect threatens police after incident in Lincoln Park, police say
TAYLOR, Mich. On Monday at 10:30 a.m. a family went to the Michigan State Police Metro South Post to report a domestic assault incident that happened in Lincoln Park overnight. Police said the suspect is supposed to be armed with an AK-47. After the incident, the suspect left Lincoln Park and drove to the Taylor area where he allegedly intentionally rammed a vehicle occupied by family members of the domestic violence victim. My granddaughter needs her mother, Bedfords mother, Kathy Parker, said. We need our daughter.Parker said she remembers Bedfords last call on Mothers Day. Her last known address was on Hanover Street in Lincoln Park. Update: 57-year-old man killed in Grosse Ile plane crash
GROSSE ILE, Mich. – Police have provided new details following the death of a man after a plane crashed on Grosse Ile Saturday. Officials say at around 4:47 p.m. an airplane crashed in a residential neighborhood in the 27000 block of Loma Circle. Police say the pilot, 57-year-old Jeffrey Dean Oliver of Lincoln Park, was ejected from the plane. Officials are investigating whether his death was caused by injuries sustained during the crash or a medical condition that may have occurred during the flight. Officials described the plane as a “Golden Circle Air T-Bird Tandem TBT-06 with fixed wings that falls within the experimental airworthiness class.”The FAA and NTSB are investigating.

UPDATE: Man killed in place crash identified as 57-year-old from Lincoln ParkHe was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries, where he died. He was flying an experimental ultralight plane and witnesses said the plane clipped a tree and crashed in the woods behind a neighborhood. He was the only person on board. The FAA and NTSB is investigating.
Semi truck hits fire truck on I-75 in Lincoln Park, 2 fire fighters injured
LINCOLN PARK, Mich. Michigan State Police assisted Lincoln Park Police officers on I-75 Friday night with a two-vehicle crash. According to authorities, a semi truck hit a fire truck on northbound I-75, near Dixie Highway. Police said the crash injured two fire fighters -- one is in critical condition and one has serious injuries.
18-month-old child shot in Lincoln Park
LINCOLN PARK, Mich. – Michigan State Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that injured a child in Lincoln Park on Sunday afternoon. Police say at around 3:30 p.m. a suspect pulled alongside the victim’s car on the northbound I-75 ramp to Outer Drive. The suspect shot at the vehicle multiple times and struck an 18-month-old child, officials said. Michigan State Police’s Special Investigation Section is investigating the incident at the request of Lincoln Park Police. Officials say this is not a random incident.

The new AI system will help process package data 10 times faster for the Postal Service, which processes and delivers about 146 billion pieces of mail in a year, Nvidia said. Nvidias systems are being purchased by the Postal Service under a contract with Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. The tie-up is expected to be fully operational by spring of 2020, Nvidia said, adding that delivery and testing of the system will start this year.
