Background

Scott was arrested after allegedly threatening to “air out” Pleasantview Elementary School in Eastpointe following a dispute over his child missing snack time.

Eastpointe officers were called to the school at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, after Scott confronted a teacher during dismissal, demanding an explanation for the missed snack time.

The situation quickly escalated as Scott began yelling, cursing, and making violent threats in front of staff, students, and other parents.

Police say Scott repeatedly threatened to return the next day and “air the place out,” a slang term meaning to shoot up the school, alarming everyone present.

Eastpointe’s road patrol, School Resource Officer, Detective Bureau, and Special Investigative Unit responded promptly, arresting Scott within two hours.
