Police said the family used a family-tracking application to find the teen’s last location at the Meijer in the city of Monroe.

Officials said they were unable to locate the 14-year-old girl at that time, but with assistance from associates at Meijer, they obtained video surveillance of her with an unknown man and the vehicle they were seen leaving in.

Police said they used FLOCK to search for the vehicle and located it, along with the registered owner, who drives for Uber.

Based on information from the Uber driver, police said they located the area where both were dropped off in the city of Monroe.

Police said they were able to make contact with the man and the 14-year-old girl, and the man was taken into custody for harboring a juvenile runaway, and the teen was returned to her family.
