Downriver woman pleads guilty in $2M Oakland County embezzling case

A 56-year-old woman from New Boston has admitted to embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from her employer.

Susan O’Hara reportedly embezzled more than $2 million from General RV Center in Wixom.

According to authorities, O’Hara used her access to the company’s systems and client information to issue checks that she would cash.

In August 2025, O’Hara was charged with three counts of embezzlement of $100,000 or more, one count of using a computer to commit a crime, three counts of forgery and one count of identity theft.

She pleaded guilty Tuesday, Jan. 13, to three counts of embezzlement and one count of forgery. The other charges were dismissed as part of the plea agreement.

O’Hara is expected to be sentenced March 20.
