A more updated model from 1934 has since been installed in the house, Myshock said. According to Supervisor David Glaab, the downtown building has and will continue to serve as the Huron Township Historical House. Its operation will continue to fall under the auspices of the Huron Township Historical Commission and the capable hands of township board liaison, Clerk Jeremy Cady, Glaab said in a statement this week.
