A series of clipper systems will bring much colder air and accumulating snow potential to Southeast Michigan Friday into the weekend.

Friday alone could spit out another 1 to 3 inches.

There is potential for gusts over 30 mph on MLK Day as one of these clippers tracks across the area.

Deep freeze

Colder than average conditions continue over the next two weeks. Highs this weekend will only be in the 20s with subzero wind chills expected early next week. Highs next Tuesday will only be in the teens.
