Weather: Much needed sunshine on Sunday before more snow moves into Metro Detroit

The clouds cleared out overnight last night into early this morning, which allowed temperatures to drop into the single digits to below zero in some places as you’re waking up early this morning, but we will trade that in for some sunshine, and the temperature is getting a little warmer into the afternoon.

High pressure will continue to control the forecast through the end of the weekend on Sunday, which means expect lots of sunshine as we head throughout the day.

High temperatures are climbing out of the teens, into the lower 20s by Sunday afternoon.
