ROCHESTER, MI – A pastry shop is opening another location for guests to enjoy French-style pastries in Oakland County.

The shop was created by French-trained pastry chef Matt Knio. The debut marks Knio’s seventh retail location.

Around metro Detroit, MK Cannelle has built a reputation for elegant, French-inspired pastries and desserts—think tarts and cakes alongside an eye-catching lineup of croissants—plus crusty breads and baguettes.

The 2,000-square-foot space will seat nearly 40 guests and includes a large patio.

Popular items on the menu include almond croissants, pistachio croissants and the cinnamon rope. Locations also serve coffee, sandwiches and soup offerings which change every couple of days.

In Sept., MK Cannelle opened a location on Center St. in Northville. Other locations are in Ann Arbor, Birmingham, downtown Detroit, Farmington and Keego Harbor.

MK Cannelle will be located at 4480 Orion Rd., Rochester, MI. 48306
