Dangerously cold wind chills through midday Saturday

4Warn Weather Alert. (WDIV)

The 4Warn Weather Alert issued for Metro Detroit on Friday has extended through Saturday.

After most of the region saw a little bit of snow overnight Thursday night into early Friday morning, snow will continue to fall throughout Friday.

Our next snowmaker moves through the region throughout the day on Feb. 6, thanks to a cold front moving from the northwest down to the south and east throughout the day. Snow is expected throughout the morning, changing to snow showers or snow squalls Friday afternoon into early Friday evening. High temperatures are warming into the mid-30s by Friday afternoon.
