LIVONIA, Mich. – A seller drove off with a buyer’s money during a phone sale at the Livonia Police Department’s parking lot Wednesday evening.
The theft happened at the Livonia Police Department’s parking lot at 15050 Farmington Road at around 6:40 p.m. on Feb. 18.

According to police, two people agreed to a sale and purchase of cell phones and decided to meet at the police department’s parking lot to complete the exchange.
The buyer handed the money to the seller without seeing the phones, and the seller drove off with the money.
Livonia police said they have video of the theft and are still looking for the seller. Video of the incident has not yet been released.
