SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – A third person has been arrested and charged in a Southfield human trafficking case.
Samuel Lee Hill, a 29-year-old from Woodhaven, was arrested at a Southfield hotel on Tuesday, Feb. 24. He was charged with transportation of a prostitute.

The investigation began Saturday, Feb. 21, after a 47-year-old Detroit man told police he was robbed at the hotel, where he had gone to meet a sex worker.
Police said they searched two rooms at the hotel and found suspected cocaine and fentanyl and evidence supporting human trafficking.
A 30-year-old Inkster man and a 27-year-old Pennsylvania woman were arrested at the scene.
Kylee Lynn Berry and Jowuan Lawrence Shorter were both charged with operating a human trafficking enterprise and accepting earnings of prostitution. Berry was also charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Shorter and Berry are believed to be connected to crimes in Bloomfield Township, Canton and Romulus.
They are each being held on a $50,000 bond, while Hill is being held on a $5,000 bond.
