Eastpointe police investigate after infant discovered in impounded car Investigation is ongoing

EASTPOINTE, Mich. – A 13-month-old child was found inside an impounded car at a tow yard in Eastpointe, police said.
On Saturday, Feb. 28, Eastpointe officers were called to the tow yard after someone reported seeing the infant.
The child was taken for medical evaluation, but their condition is not known at this time.
The department said it is investigating the circumstances surrounding the car’s impoundment.
