A water main break in Oakland County has prompted boil water advisories to be issued. (WDIV)

Novi, Oakland County, MIUPDATE (10:25 AM 3/7/2026): The Great Lakes Water Authority has issued the following statement in regards to the water main break in Novi:

At approximately 4:30 a.m. today, the Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) discovered a break on a 48-inch water transmission main on 14 Mile Road at Verona, which is between Drake and Farmington Roads in Farmington Hills.

Field Service crews are on-site working to isolate the break in order to assess the situation and determine next steps.

In addition, Local 4 has learned that Walled Lake has been added, along with a portion of Novi to the boil water advisory.
