Man pleads no contest in stabbing at Oakland County restaurant parking lot
Suspect fled state before arrest
Dquavion Lamariee Broome (WDIV)TROY, Mich. – A man has pleaded no contest in a stabbing that took place at an Oakland County restaurant in August.
It happened in the parking lot of the Sedona Taphouse Restaurant in Troy in August 2025. Dquavion Lamariee Broome reportedly got into an altercation with a man he knew and stabbed him.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Broome reportedly had left the state after the stabbing and was arrested and charged after he returned to Michigan in October.
Broome would plead no contest to the lesser charge of felony assault. He is expected to be sentenced on April 28.
