Multi-county drug bust in Metro Detroit nets fentanyl, heroin, guns, $270K in cash, and jewelry

No charges have been filed yet; Investigators say the case is ongoing

DETROIT – A multi-county drug bust in Metro Detroit netted fentanyl, heroin, guns, and $270K in cash and jewelry.

Detectives served five search warrants on Friday (April 17), including a home on Stansbury on Detroit’s west side.

Investigators said they were targeting a drug trafficking organization operating out of Washtenaw and Wayne counties.

Detectives said they seized nearly 700 grams of heroin and fentanyl, crack cocaine, four firearms, and more than $270,000 in cash and jewelry.

No charges have been filed yet. Investigators say the case is ongoing.
