Man arrested for operating meth lab on Michigan State University’s campus

EAST LANSING, Mich. – A meth lab was discovered in a Michigan State University academic building.

On Monday, April 27, Wells Hall was evacuated for a chemical leak. Police then found Xin Tong, 31, with substances used to make meth.

Investigators said he bought it illegally in stores and online. He was arrested and is now facing charges.

The building is closed while crews make sure it’s safe.
