DETROIT, Mich. – The Regional Transit Authority of Southeast Michigan (RTA) is bringing back its D2A2 late-night weekend service for the summer, along with extended Sunday evening hours for the QLINE.
Beginning May 29, the service will be run on Friday and Saturday nights for the remainder of the summer.

The Summer Midnight Runs provides additional travel options between Detroit and Ann Arbor on the D2A2 coach service.
There will be an additional bus departing Downtown Detroit at 11:55 p.m. every weekend from Friday, May 22, through Sunday, September 6.
A late-night bus from Ann Arbor to Downtown Detroit, will depart at 10:45 p.m.
The QLINE streetcar will extend its Sunday hours to midnight for the same period.
Riders can use the extended hours to return home along Woodward Avenue.
The special Summer Midnight Run service has been added to support for games, concerts and events.
During Memorial Day weekend, D2A2 will operate on a Summer Midnight Run schedule from Friday through Sunday to support travel for the long weekend and the Movement Festival.
D2A2 operates 16 trips each weekday between the two cities, with reduced service on weekends.
One-way tickets are $8 at the door or $6 if purchased in advance.
Discounts are available for seniors, people with disabilities, and groups purchasing 10 or more tickets.

The QLINE operates a park-and-ride program on weekends offering $5 parking for riders at Wayne State Lot 12, located across the street from the Amsterdam Street station.
The QLINE is free and riders can board at any of the streetcar’s 12 stops.
Due to the closure of the Blake Transit Center for a construction project beginning June 1, the Ann Arbor D2A2 stop will temporarily relocate to E. Washington Street between Division and State.
Riders should check the D2A2 website for updated stop details and information before traveling.
