Motown Museum previews its major expansion with animated fly-through video
Virtual fly-through offers early peek at museum’s transformation
DETROIT – The Motown Museum is giving the public a high-tech glimpse into its future.
The Detroit landmark has released its first animated fly-through video, offering a virtual preview of a planned 50,000-square-foot expansion. The project will feature interactive exhibits and the state-of-the-art Ford Motor Company Theatre.
The museum has raised $72 million toward its $75 million fundraising goal.
The expanded campus is expected to open in the summer of 2027.
