SOUTH ROCKWOOD, Mich. – One man left for dead after being shot in South Rockwood.
Monroe County Central Dispatch says they received a 911 call reporting that a male had been shot on July 12th around 7 a.m.

Allegedly the suspects fled the scene in a vehicle and were last seen traveling westbound on S. Huron River Dr.
According to Monroe County Sheriff Deputies they responded to the scene and began the initial investigation. Monroe Community Ambulance and Berlin Township Fire Department assisted on scene by rendering medical aid to the man.
Police say, the man shot has been identified as a 54-year-old male resident of the marina.
The 54-year-old was transported to Corewell Hospital in Trenton, police say the man died of his injuries shortly after arrival.
The case is active at this time and under investigation.
